The AECM103 control modules may have a BV sensor built in (optional). The BV sensor can monitor an external battery voltage via terminals 15 and 16. If the voltage drops below the limit of 11.8V (reprogrammable limit), the BV sensor will initiate a generator start signal and stop it when the battery voltage has reached the maximum limit of 14.00V (reprogrammable limit).
